Client Delivery - Assistant Vice President (SaaS)

Location: Greater Des Moines, Iowa, United States; office-based Monday–Thursday with remote flexibility on Friday

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead a portfolio of Carrier/Distributor client implementations, enhancements, and strategic initiatives.
• Oversee project governance, timelines, scope, milestones, risks, dependencies, quality, and delivery performance.
• Manage capacity planning, resource allocation, utilization, portfolio reporting, and financial performance, including forecasting, revenue, margins, and billing accuracy.
• Lead Project Coordinators, Business Analysts, Configuration Analysts, and other internal and external delivery resources.
• Act as the primary delivery leader and senior escalation point for clients and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Sales, Support, and Client Success to resolve delivery obstacles and improve operational processes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of project management or delivery leadership experience implementing Software/SaaS solutions in financial services or insurance.
• Experience managing client portfolios, portfolio financial performance, multiple teams, and cross-functional delivery resources.
• Proven success delivering SaaS projects and programs on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Financial services or financial software application experience is required; insurance experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, team-building, and change leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and JIRA.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• Experience with Life, Annuity, or Property & Casualty insurance applications.
• Experience with Cantata.
