Manager II, Professional Services

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States. On-site position.

Salary: $128,000–$140,000 per year, including base salary and a portion of variable compensation tied to company and individual performance.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, mentor, and manage a team of Project Managers, Implementation Consultants, and related professional services roles.
• Manage a portfolio of complex implementation projects and technical deployments, ensuring on-time delivery, budget control, and customer satisfaction.
• Translate strategic objectives into operational processes, implementation approaches, and project management methodologies.
• Forecast portfolio performance, monitor project budgets and delivery metrics, schedule resources, and report to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project and customer risks, manage escalations, visit customer sites as needed, and support Statements of Work and Change Orders.
• Collaborate with sales, customer success, product management, and engineering teams to improve implementations and customer outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in project delivery, preferably in a SaaS environment.
• Experience managing teams, developing talent, establishing accountability, and building a strong team culture.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to understand and articulate product requirements, process logic, and architecture, and to create and deliver functional presentations.
• Ability to balance profitability with customer service while managing multiple complex and interdependent initiatives.

Nice to have

• Experience with government budgeting, finance and budgeting solutions, procurement, permitting, licensing, asset management, or related fields.
