Senior Manager APAC, Developer Solutions (Gaming): Building and scaling partnerships with AAA and AA game developers to drive adoption of Discord’s Social Layer SDK, commerce, Nitro subscriptions, and collectibles with an accent on enterprise sales, monetization, and complex deal execution. Focus on sourcing and negotiating strategic partnerships, defining commercial and technical frameworks, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver measurable growth and partner success.
Location: Singapore; 25–50% travel to game developer partners is required.

What you will do
- Identify high-fit games and developers for Discord’s Social Layer SDK, commerce, and Nitro subscription offerings.
- Own a territory and book of business covering AAA and AA game developers, with quarterly performance goals.
- Manage the full sales and partnership process from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and deal close.
- Build predictable pipelines through outbound prospecting, targeted outreach, strategic account mapping, and CRM documentation.
- Lead partnership strategy, commercial structuring, technical scope definition, and negotiations for high-impact agreements.
- Coordinate Product, Engineering, Ad Sales, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Executive Leadership, and Customer Success to remove roadblocks and expand partner relationships.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, and partnerships.
- 4+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS, SDK adoption, analytics or insights sales, software, or platform companies.
- Experience with game technology, developer tools, and the gaming industry.
- Fluent English and Mandarin Chinese, both written and spoken, with the ability to conduct business and technical conversations.
- Strong record of winning new logos and closing complex enterprise deals.
- Proven ability to source, negotiate, and scale partnerships while leading cross-functional execution with clear ownership and accountability.
