Software Development Engineer (Network Capacity Management)

What you will do

• Design and develop highly scalable and reliable services for network configuration lifecycle management.
• Build foundational network services for a software-defined networking ecosystem.
• Develop closed-loop systems for reserving network entities associated with procurement and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, network, supply chain, security, and operations specialists.
• Create a technical roadmap for evolving the software services portfolio.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience programming in at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Experience designing or architecting systems with design patterns, reliability, and scalability.
• Experience building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers.

Nice to have

• Experience with hyperscale data center networks, cloud infrastructure, algorithms, distributed systems, or service-oriented architectures.
• Prior networking experience is useful but not required.
