Product Manager (AI)

Location: New York City or San Francisco, United States

Salary: $230,000–$330,000 USD per year, plus equity. The listed salary range applies to U.S.-based positions.

What you will do

• Identify high-impact problems by analyzing product data, operational feedback, recurring quality issues, and customer needs.
• Turn recurring needs into shared services, tools, and workflows that reduce duplicated and manual work.
• Partner with product, engineering, and operations teams to understand workflows and anticipate future platform capabilities.
• Prioritize investments across product enablement, reliability, efficiency, and technical debt.
• Define success metrics tied to business impact, reliability, cost to serve, reduced manual work, and customer outcomes.
• Write requirements and drive delivery through technical tradeoffs, build-versus-buy decisions, rollout, launch, and iteration.

Requirements

• Experience owning product strategy and execution for technical products, platforms, or shared systems used by multiple teams.
• Strong technical fluency in APIs, data flows, system dependencies, failure modes, and engineering tradeoffs.
• Strong analytical skills, including independent problem investigation, workflow analysis, metric definition, and evidence-based prioritization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to align teams and make difficult prioritization decisions.
• Experience solving complex problems across multiple stakeholders, including customer, agent, and internal employee workflows.
• High ownership, sound judgment, attention to detail, and a focus on customer outcomes and product quality.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-native products requiring evaluation, safeguards, and human-in-the-loop design.
• Experience with critical software such as support platforms, legal or compliance tooling, identity and account systems, billing, fraud, or trust and safety products.
• Experience working on platforms with complex workflows and non-trivial tradeoffs.
