Ops Manager MRF (Recycling Operations)

Location: Seattle, WA, USA; onsite role at a Materials Recycling Facility.

Salary: $109,000–$149,800 per year, plus a 20% annual incentive plan target.

What you will do

• Lead recycling and post-collections operations at a Materials Recycling Facility.
• Manage supervisors, dispatchers, clerks, drivers, sorters, helpers, and equipment operators.
• Execute operating plans focused on customer experience, growth, profitability, and budget achievement.
• Oversee safety, accident prevention, environmental, regulatory, accounting, and ethics compliance.
• Manage recycling contracts, permits, commodity production, vendor pricing, expenses, and department budgets.
• Develop commodity sales strategies and build relationships with government, community, and environmental groups.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience, or participation in hirify.global’ management trainee program.
• Experience managing multiple sites and working with labor relations.
• Ability to lead large teams, manage change, solve problems, and execute strategic plans.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, decision-making, leadership, and talent-development skills.
• Previous employment by a Fortune 500 company.
