What you will do

• Lead reviews of network security architectures, firewall designs, trust-zone transfers, and least-privilege controls.
• Develop and maintain security standards, diagrams, designs, and transition documentation for LAN, WAN, cloud networks, SD-WAN, and ACI.
• Administer, configure, tune, secure, and sustain firewalls, proxies, IDS/IPS, SIEM feeds, network sensors, and CDM capabilities.
• Support security investigations, incident containment and recovery, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Identify network security and performance gaps, conduct alternatives analyses and technology evaluations, and recommend corrective action.
• Develop security policies, training materials, signature-management records, maintenance reports, and performance reports.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of relevant experience in network security, network engineering, cybersecurity engineering, or security-tool administration.
• Advanced experience with LAN and WAN security, cloud networking, firewall architecture, IDS/IPS, SIEM integrations, CDM tools, network sensors, and security investigations.
• Required PWS certifications include CompTIA Security+ and Network+, Cisco CCST Networking or Cybersecurity or CCENT, Palo Alto PCCSA, Juniper JNCIA-Junos, and AWS Cloud Practitioner.
• Active higher-level certifications may support a certification waiver.
• Ability to lead architecture reviews, trade studies, root-cause investigations, technology recommendations, policy development, and technical reporting.

Nice to have

• Cisco CCNA or CCNP certification.
• AWS Advanced Networking Specialty certification.
