Allocations Analyst (Retail)

What you will do

• Manage seasonal allocation and planning for businesses with 500–1,000 SKUs and up to $200 million in annual volume.
• Coordinate with Buying, Planning, and Visual Merchandising on seasonal sets, refreshes, and marketed events.
• Allocate products to warehouses, stores, and online channels using demand forecasts, sales trends, and inventory targets.
• Monitor sell-through, identify slow-moving items, and recommend actions such as distribution-center holds, markdowns, or floor-placement changes.
• Generate inventory-performance reports and partner with Data Science to develop Power BI dashboards.
• Provide allocation updates and collaborate with Buying, Planning, Visual Merchandising, and Supply Chain.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in inventory management.
• Strong data-analysis, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to learn systems quickly.
• Sense of urgency and interest in a high-growth retail environment.

• Power BI or Tableau experience.
