Cost Analysis & Optimization Specialist

Location: Fontana, Chino, or City of Industry, California, United States

Salary: $70,000–$100,000 USD annually plus an annual performance bonus

What you will do

• Analyze business performance and cost data to identify cost drivers, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
• Improve cost data definitions, collection, allocation, accounting, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Analyze operating costs across warehousing, transportation, procurement, leases, labor, and consumables.
• Develop and execute cost optimization plans with defined objectives, milestones, and responsibilities.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Network Planning, Operations, Finance, and other teams on improvement initiatives.
• Track savings and efficiency gains, conduct post-project reviews, and document continuous improvement practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong data analysis, business acumen, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management and cross-functional communication skills.
• Knowledge of logistics operating cost structures, including warehousing, transportation, procurement, labor, and lease-related costs.
• Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Results orientation, logical thinking, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
