Clinical Nurse - Nuclear Medicine, Full-time Days

Location: 251 E. Huron, Chicago, IL, United States; onsite day shift

Salary: $36.50–$58.40 per hour

What you will do

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent, evidence-based nursing care for an assigned group of patients.
• Develop individualized, age-specific and culturally sensitive care plans using the nursing process.
• Implement, evaluate and document nursing interventions and patient responses in the health record.
• Educate patients, families, students and team members while advocating for patient safety, rights and care needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, delegate and supervise interventions, and communicate accurate information during handoffs.
• Participate in quality improvement, professional development, shared leadership and clinical practice initiatives.

Requirements

• Graduate of an NLN-accredited school or college of nursing.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or higher.
• Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license required.
• Basic Life Support CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
• Analytical, oral, listening and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively in difficult situations.

Nice to have

• Experience in the specific clinical area.
• Nursing specialty certification, if eligible.
