System Architecture Engineer (Missile Defense)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, United States; travel up to 15% required.

What you will do

• Support the Architecture Validation Team within the Missile Defense Agency Chief Architect's Office.
• Develop and manage the QlikSense-based Capability Gap Tracker, including reviewing, updating, and organizing gaps and threats.
• Create dashboards and data visualizations for reporting, analysis, and architecture decision-making.
• Work with MDA organizations and Capability Gap Tracker users to identify reporting needs and improve decision support.
• Build understanding of missile defense system elements and help organizations leverage the tracker.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field and 3+ years of experience supporting missile defense-related or other complex, large Department of Defense programs or projects.
• Experience working with and analyzing large data sets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Department of War security clearance.
• Must be able to work in Huntsville, Alabama, and travel up to 15% of the time.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Missile Defense Systems components, architectures, concepts, and threats.
• Experience with QlikSense, Tableau, Power BI, or similar data analytics and visualization platforms.
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering, Model-Based Systems Engineering, and Digital Engineering strategies.
• Experience with Digital Engineering tools such as Cameo, Palantir, or similar technologies.
