Summer Internship 2027 - Data Analytics - Operational Excellence (Aerospace)

Location: 100% onsite in Mobile, Alabama, United States for the duration of the summer internship. Approximately 5–10% short-notice travel may be required.

hirify.global operates a commercial aircraft manufacturing facility in Mobile producing A320 Family and A220 aircraft and developing digital capabilities for manufacturing operations.

What you will do

• Support project governance, risk tracking, milestone reporting, and stakeholder communications for digital transformation initiatives.
• Connect data scientists and engineers with shop-floor operational users and support change management and user adoption.
• Map data flows for production processes and create user-friendly dashboards for manufacturing teams.
• Analyze structured operational data, identify statistical properties and outliers, and clean datasets for future machine learning models.
• Support digital initiatives through development and deployment and manage ad hoc stakeholder requests.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Practical knowledge of Python, SQL, Java, C++, or Google Apps Script for data extraction, integration, and basic automation.
• Comfort with IT tools, digital system development basics, and Google Workspace platforms.
• Analytical problem-solving skills, curiosity, adaptability, proactivity, and ability to collaborate across functions.
• Strong English communication skills are required.
• Must be able to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship or work authorization support.
