Engineer II, Data Analytics (AI)

Location: USA - Remote, CA; US citizenship or Green Card required

Salary: $100,000–$145,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses and equity grants

What you will do

• Analyze data center financial operations, cost drivers, vendors, customers served, and regional factors.
• Set annual and monthly performance targets, analyze budget-to-actual variances, and communicate findings to leadership.
• Develop and refine driver-based financial models using KPIs, data warehousing, and data modeling.
• Identify and lead cost-saving initiatives and support month-end financial close reporting.
• Perform ad hoc analysis for strategic initiatives and business decisions.
• Find process defects and waste, then drive automation and process improvements to prevent recurrence.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder.
• At least 5 years of finance, business analysis, or related analytical experience.
• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or another analytical field.
• Strong business judgment, communication, independent working, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload.
• Strong Excel modeling and PowerPoint skills, plus demonstrated experience using AI technologies to improve decisions, workflows, and business outcomes.
