Data Management Analyst (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, NY, East Aurora, NY, or Torrance, CA; first-shift schedule. Travel is less than 10%.

Salary: $105,000–$140,000 annually, depending on work location, experience, and performance.

What you will do

• Deploy data governance practices, organizational change management activities, and data fluency initiatives across the business.
• Define business data requirements, data quality needs, and reporting and analytics use cases with functional stakeholders.
• Collect, prepare, clean, analyze, and visualize data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable insights.
• Develop dashboards, reports, analytical models, and advanced visualizations for technical and non-technical business users.
• Promote data standards, ownership, stewardship responsibilities, and effective adoption of data management practices.
• Improve the efficiency, consistency, scalability, and automation of recurring data analysis, reporting, and data management processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, business analytics, computer science, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data management, data governance, or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of requirements definition, data preparation, analysis, modeling, visualization, and interpretation.
• Ability to connect analytics and data management practices with business processes, stakeholder needs, and decision-making priorities.
• Ability to work independently on projects, processes, or programs with minimal guidance and communicate data concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Onsite availability in Buffalo/East Aurora, NY, or Torrance, CA is required. The role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting ERP, MES, or enterprise platform modernization programs.
• Familiarity with waterfall-hybrid, agile-hybrid, or stage-gate delivery methods.
• Experience with Databricks, SQL Server, Power BI, Power Apps, or similar data and reporting platforms.
• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or other operationally complex environments.
