Systems Engineer and Integrator (SE3) (Government)

Location: Columbia, Maryland, with work performed at a government customer site in Laurel, Maryland. Office presence is required at least 5 days per week. The position is only available at the posted location, and no relocation is offered.

Salary: $130,700–$243,800 yearly.

What you will do

• Conduct gap analysis for migration to and integration of M365 software and systems.
• Analyze alternatives and recommend paths forward for enterprise solutions.
• Translate user requirements, operational concepts, and high-level architectures into system requirements specifications.
• Lead systems engineering, design, development, integration, and implementation planning.
• Develop system architecture, system design, engineering management, integration, and test documentation.
• Work with government stakeholders, program personnel, overseers, and senior executives to resolve technical issues and maintain deliverable integrity.

Requirements

• 20 years of systems engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Experience planning and leading systems engineering efforts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related discipline; five additional years of systems engineering experience may substitute for the degree.
• Required clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph.
• Compliance with DOD 8570.01-M and minimum IAM Level I certification, including CAP, GSLC, or Security+.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of M365 service offerings and implementation or integration strategies.
• Understanding of IT system architectures.
• Experience with security and identity and access management for cross-tenant collaboration.
• Experience analyzing alternatives for complex systems.
