Sr Buyer (Retail)

Location: Hybrid role based at headquarters near Portland, Oregon, United States; onsite four days per week

What you will do

• Develop product assortments, style selections, product flow, and store-level assortments aligned with financial plans.
• Manage open-to-buy budgets, inventory, in-season pricing, and gross margin improvement.
• Drive cross-functional discussions on product needs, store execution, visual merchandising, and marketing.
• Partner with Allocation to coordinate product delivery and replenishment throughout the season.
• Partner with Planning on sales forecasts, merchandise availability, and business changes.
• Maintain real-time project status reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification, or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in buying, retail merchandising, merchandise planning, or allocation.
• Experience managing a small team.
• Excellent Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication, analytical and creative thinking, time management, resourcefulness, resilience, and confidence.
• Ability to work onsite at the headquarters near Portland four days per week in a hybrid arrangement.
