Senior Product Analyst/System Analyst (Financial Services)

Location: Hybrid in Birmingham, Alabama; Columbia, South Carolina; Knoxville, Tennessee; Lafayette, Louisiana; or Plano, Texas

Salary: $95,700–$123,800 per year

What you will do

• Analyze complex business processes, system interactions, workflows, and data flows in financial services and loan servicing environments.
• Translate business needs into requirements, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process diagrams.
• Use SQL, system logs, and scenario reconstruction to investigate data issues and production incidents.
• Develop test cases and support SIT, UAT, end-to-end testing, defect management, and implementation readiness.
• Collaborate with product, business, technology, QA, and third-party vendor teams in an Agile environment.
• Support application enhancements, production support, issue resolution, and system performance.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a comparable role.
• Strong business, process, system, and data analysis skills, including hands-on SQL experience.
• Experience creating requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, test cases, and workflow diagrams using Visio or similar tools.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, end-to-end testing, defect management, Agile delivery, and vendor coordination.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex requirements to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of multifamily loan servicing, mortgage servicing, or financial services operations.
• Understanding of AWS-based application environments and cloud systems.
• Familiarity with Jira, Apptio TargetProcess, or comparable Agile and product management tools.
• Experience using generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT for analysis and documentation.
