Director, Strategic Finance

What you will do

• Build and own financial models for strategic initiatives, long-range targets, enterprise decisions, and value-creation opportunities.
• Lead analysis for portfolio, operating model, growth, performance improvement, capital allocation, and strategic transaction initiatives.
• Develop Board and executive materials connecting financial analysis, performance, and market context to recommendations.
• Lead financial guidance, earnings analysis, executive Q&A, supporting scenarios, and stakeholder messaging.
• Partner with Enterprise FP&A and finance leaders on forecasts, quarter-end expectations, consensus estimates, investor expectations, and market reaction.
• Create concise presentations and narratives while building repeatable tools and strengthening analytical capabilities across finance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in strategic finance, FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, investor relations, or a related field, including 5+ years in leadership.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, scenario analysis, and valuation skills.
• Experience supporting earnings, guidance, Board materials, or other high-stakes financial communications in a large public company.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, judgment, discretion, and executive presence.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with enterprise planning systems, financial databases, and business intelligence tools is preferred.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, CMA, or CFA.
• Experience in investor relations, strategy, corporate development, or transaction-oriented finance.
• Strong understanding of public-company financial statements, capital markets, valuation, and investor expectations.
• Ability to challenge assumptions, connect financial analysis to business strategy, and recommend clear actions.
