Director of Finance (AI)

Location: Chicago, IL, USA; hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week, Monday–Thursday

Salary: $150,171.61–$181,034.70 per year, plus eligibility for an annual incentive program

hirify.global is a large healthcare education organization operating five accredited institutions and focused on expanding access to healthcare careers and addressing the U.S. healthcare workforce shortage.

What you will do

• Partner with the Vice Presidents of Expansion and Partnerships to evaluate markets, campus expansion, healthcare employer partnerships, and workforce development investments.
• Build financial models, business cases, ROI analyses, break-even analyses, and investment recommendations for strategic growth initiatives.
• Lead annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning based on enrollment, tuition, revenue, expense, profitability, and capacity drivers.
• Develop scalable forecasting tools using large datasets, modern finance technologies, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages for executive leadership, board audiences, and enterprise stakeholders.
• Deliver variance, scenario, sensitivity, P&L, and KPI analyses while collaborating with academic affairs, enrollment, operations, marketing, strategy, accounting, and institutional leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, consulting, transaction advisory, corporate development, or a related field.
• Deep expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, business case development, and performance analysis.
• Experience evaluating growth investments, expansion opportunities, partnerships, strategic initiatives, or capital allocation decisions.
• Ability to build sophisticated models using large datasets, modern finance technologies, and AI-enabled tools.
• Strong executive presence, communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and decision-support skills.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, or CMA.
• Experience in expansion planning, corporate strategy, consulting, transaction advisory, M&A-related analysis, or strategic partnerships.
