AI Applied Engineering Intern (AI)

Location: Vancouver, Washington, United States of America. Onsite role. Candidates must be currently eligible to work in the United States, able to obtain US work authorization in 2027, and must not require future sponsorship.

Salary: $29–$35 per hour for US candidates.

What you will do

• Optimize AI inference workflows for edge-device environments.
• Analyze latency, memory usage, computational efficiency, and model performance.
• Identify bottlenecks in agentic AI architectures and develop software prototypes.
• Support the integration of AI models and agents with edge hardware.
• Document technical designs, findings, and performance recommendations.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, AI, and strategy stakeholders using tools such as Codex, Copilot, and Claude.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline.
• No more than 24 months of professionally related prior work experience, excluding internships, teaching assistance, research work, and military experience.
• Currently eligible to work in the United States and able to obtain US work authorization in 2027 without future sponsorship.
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, coding, software and systems engineering, and AI inference optimization.
• Experience with technical design, prototyping, testing, debugging, and performance analysis.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
