Software Engineering Internship (AI)

Location: Lowell, Massachusetts, United States. Hybrid schedule with on-site work three days per week; Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. EST. Available May 17, 2027 through August 6, 2027.

Pay: $23–$30 per hour.

What you will do

• Write and test production-level software that supports hirify.global customers.
• Work alongside experienced software engineers with daily mentoring and code reviews.
• Participate in an Agile engineering environment and contribute to team deliverables.
• Gain practical exposure to APIs, databases, cloud services, and other team technologies.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to explore ideas, generate drafts, improve tests, and support learning.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Strong programming proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, or a comparable language.
• Strong foundation in object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without restrictions now or in the future.
• Visa sponsorship is not available, including temporary sponsorship through CPT.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid environment and on site three days per week.
