Staff Software Engineer, Data Visualization (Robotics)

Salary: $193,800–$285,000 USD annually, plus potential equity grants

hirify.global Labs is an independent robotics group within hirify.global developing Dot, an autonomous delivery robot for the core business.

What you will do

• Build tools that help autonomy, operations, product, and executive teams understand robot behavior on the road and in simulation.
• Develop web applications for time-series data, video playback, telemetry, diagnostics, and 3D scene reconstruction.
• Maintain a C++ visualization framework that transforms robot data into informative 2D and 3D web output.
• Develop data-introspection capabilities for an expanding fleet of next-generation robots.
• Own backend and frontend systems end to end, set technical roadmaps, and identify opportunities for new systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of full-stack software development experience.
• Fluency with React and TypeScript.
• Experience with 3D computer graphics.
• Ability to independently identify and solve ambiguous problems and collaborate cross-functionally.

Nice to have

• Experience in robotics, autonomous driving, scientific visualization, or simulation.
• Experience with high-performance browser technologies such as WebCodecs and Web Workers.
• Experience with WebGL, three.js, Open3D, or game engines.
• Experience with distributed or batch compute, AWS infrastructure, application profiling, optimization, and modern C++.
