Professional Learning Specialist (ELA or Reading) - Louisiana

Location: Based in Louisiana; not a remote position. Preference for Central or Northern Louisiana. Travel up to 80% is required, including overnight and out-of-state travel.

Salary: $60,750–$99,750 per year

What you will do

• Deliver targeted professional development to teachers, coaches, and district and site leaders.
• Provide tailored on-site classroom support, including lesson planning, pacing guidance, instructional coaching, and data-informed teaching support.
• Support districts in selecting, implementing, and adopting hirify.global products, including Ready and i-Ready.
• Analyze implementation data and help leaders identify successes and challenges.
• Develop and revise annual professional learning plans and schedules with district and site leaders.
• Attend relevant educational conferences and collaborate with sales teams, educators, students, and school districts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in teaching, teacher coaching, or professional development.
• Strong ELA or reading background and working knowledge of K–8 state standards, including content and practice standards.
• Fluency with digital tools and online assessments, with the ability to discuss and apply data with educators and leaders.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and their application to professional learning.
• Ability to manage, monitor, evaluate, and protect the integrity of program implementations.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the territory and to company meetings; travel up to 80% is an essential job function.
