What you will do

• Review intake assessments and provide small-group instruction for entering and emerging English Language Learners.
• Provide push-in support across grade levels and content areas, adapting instruction and creating modified materials.
• Partner with general education teachers, school leaders, and families to address accommodations and student progress.
• Analyze assessment data and student work, gather academic growth data, and write goals supporting English proficiency.
• Build positive relationships with students and families while contributing to school-wide culture and student achievement.
• Participate in coaching, mentorship, professional development, and weekly school-wide meetings.

Requirements

• TESOL certification is required.
• Academic expertise in English as a New Language instruction, humanities, social sciences, STEM, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in supporting K–12 students in urban schools and communities; 1–2 years of experience is preferred.
• Commitment to students’ social-emotional and academic development.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners and apply feedback to improve outcomes.
