Education Content Manager (AI/EdTech)

Location: New York, NY HQ, USA; up to 20% travel to assigned countries, including crisis- and conflict-affected contexts.

Salary: $68,000–$74,000 per year, calibrated according to work location, experience, skills, and internal equity.

What you will do

• Test digital course flows, AI prompts, chatbot behavior, and learning materials for accuracy, clarity, pedagogical alignment, cultural appropriateness, and safety.
• Maintain QA logs, troubleshoot content issues, identify edge cases, and communicate actionable fixes with developers and technical colleagues.
• Review usage, completion, engagement, and QA data to identify signals affecting teacher learning and program uptake.
• Refine quality frameworks, rubrics, documentation, knowledge products, presentations, and learning agendas.
• Develop and adapt short digital courses, thematic modules, quizzes, strategy descriptions, and teaching materials.
• Collaborate with governments, local partners, content creators, country teams, product colleagues, and education specialists on localization and deployment.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in International Education or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree with equivalent additional professional experience.
• Classroom teaching experience and experience developing education or teacher professional development content grounded in evidence-based pedagogy.
• International experience, ideally in low-resource, crisis- or conflict-affected contexts.
• Strong analytical, testing, troubleshooting, writing, documentation, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-functional, geographically dispersed, and multicultural environment.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English, with the ability to work across multiple time zones.

Nice to have

• Interest in or experience with EdTech and AI in education, especially low-tech modalities.
• Experience creating, adapting, or localizing content for multilingual or humanitarian contexts.
• Familiarity with teacher professional development frameworks, classroom observation, or quality instruments.
