Recruiting Operations and Transformation Lead (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in New York, Denver, or San Francisco, with onsite work required Tuesday and Wednesday. Employees generally work from the office 2–3 days per week. San Francisco office expectations include the San Jose metro area.

Cash compensation: $147,000–$190,000 per year in Denver and most major metro locations; $173,000–$225,000 per year in San Francisco and New York.

What you will do

• Develop and execute a multi-year strategy for transforming recruiting processes from requisition intake through offer and onboarding handoff.
• Redesign recruiting workflows using Lean, service design, automation, AI, and agentic solutions.
• Partner with People Technology to implement improvements across Greenhouse, sourcing, scheduling, case management, integrations, and self-service tools.
• Oversee Recruiting Operations and Candidate Experience teams, ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient hiring workflows.
• Establish operational governance, process ownership, KPI dashboards, and continuous improvement mechanisms.
• Lead managers and individual contributors while influencing Recruiting, People Tech, Finance, IT, Security, and Legal stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Recruiting Operations, Talent Acquisition Operations, Business Operations, Process Excellence, Consulting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience leading managers and operational teams.
• Demonstrated success leading enterprise-scale process transformation initiatives.
• Experience managing recruiting operations, candidate experience or support, or similar service organizations.
• Strong knowledge of recruiting technology ecosystems, including Greenhouse or comparable ATS, sourcing tools, and scheduling or case management platforms.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, business process management, operational metrics, executive communication, and stakeholder influence.

• Familiarity with AI-enabled recruiting automation and candidate support technologies.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent operational excellence training.
