Staff Software Engineer (AI)

Salary: $202,500–$274,000 annual base pay, with potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Drive customer, business, and technology outcomes by identifying and leading key opportunities across the organization.
• Lead significant technology initiatives end-to-end, including horizontal architecture layers.
• Design and implement durable software solutions for critical customer problems.
• Build robust, scalable, secure, and highly available applications while balancing short-term and long-term objectives.
• Guide the use of AI for customer problems, including evaluation of solution accuracy and applicability.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, mentor engineers, and influence technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience developing systems or software for large business environments.
• 5+ years of experience designing complex distributed systems, management products, or business applications.
• Full-stack experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, SwiftUI, or Kotlin, and back-end technologies such as Java, TypeScript, Spring, or Express.
• Experience with AI technologies including SageMaker, Vertex, LangChain, large language models, prompt engineering, Dialogflow, and Python.
• Experience building AI-native applications and understanding AI models, evaluation tools, and real-world AI technologies.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with strong analytical, communication, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience working in AWS or GCP cloud environments.
• At least one year of experience on teams building AI-native applications.
• Experience driving results across cross-functional and global teams.
