Senior Principle Engineer (AI)

Location: Fully remote, but candidates must be located in the United States or Canada and work in the Pacific Timezone.

Base pay in the United States: $202,437–$318,425 annually, depending on geographic pay zone. The role may also include benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

What you will do

• Own the technical evolution and long-term architecture of Growth Monetization services, customer experiences, and experimentation platforms.
• Define technical roadmaps across multiple Product teams and drive customer success.
• Maintain operational excellence across performance, reliability, observability, data safety, and security.
• Lead technical reviews, investigations, incident response, and critical product problem solving.
• Lead technical experimentation strategies across multiple engineering teams.
• Mentor Principal and Senior Engineers while improving engineering quality and productivity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 12+ years of experience developing large-scale distributed systems.
• 4+ years of experience providing architectural oversight and technical leadership.
• Experience shaping technical direction across teams and influencing architecture and product strategy beyond a single service.
• Extensive experience with distributed systems, data streaming platforms, and event-driven architecture.
• Fluency in a modern object-oriented programming language such as Java, Golang, Python, or JavaScript, plus experience with public clouds such as AWS or GCP.
