Controller – Global Close, Consolidation & Management Reporting

Location: Hybrid role in the United States, with on-site work at an assigned hirify.global site and off-site work. Primary location: Hillsboro, Oregon. Additional locations: Phoenix, Arizona; Folsom and Santa Clara, California; Fort Collins, Colorado; Austin, Texas.

Annual salary: $165,890–$234,200 USD.

What you will do

• Lead and develop global teams responsible for financial close, consolidation, management reporting, balance sheet analysis, and cash flow reporting.
• Direct monthly and quarterly consolidated close processes and ensure accurate, complete, and timely financial statements.
• Lead executive reporting, financial results analysis, variance explanations, management commentary, and cash flow reporting.
• Partner with External Reporting on SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K, and support external auditor requests.
• Collaborate with Finance, Corporate Planning, Treasury, Tax, Investor Relations, the CFO Office, and IT to resolve risks and reporting issues.
• Drive process improvement, automation, technology, AI-enabled solutions, performance metrics, and stronger controls across reporting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
• 10+ years of progressive corporate accounting or financial reporting experience, or 8+ years with a master’s degree.
• 5+ years leading, coaching, and developing direct or global teams.
• CPA certification and public accounting experience.
• Experience with financial close, global consolidation, management reporting, financial statement analysis, cash flow reporting, and SEC reporting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, ERP and consolidation systems such as SAP or S/4HANA, Workiva or similar platforms, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. This position is not eligible for hirify.global immigration sponsorship.
