Global Controller (AI)

Location: New York City, NY; on-site at the NYC HQ

Salary: $180,000–$250,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own the general ledger and monthly, quarterly, and annual close under US GAAP.
• Manage US federal and state corporate tax, international tax, cross-border entity structures, and transfer pricing.
• Oversee payroll compliance, payroll taxes, filings, and the PEO or payroll provider relationship.
• Lead audits, annual financial statements, investor reporting, due diligence, dashboards, and variance analysis.
• Build and automate scalable processes across accounting, billing, payroll, and reporting.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of experience, including Big Four or public accounting.
• Deep expertise in US GAAP, financial statements, technical accounting, and complex reconciliations.
• Hands-on experience with US and international tax across multi-entity structures.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced startup.
• Ability to work on-site in New York City.
