Controller (Manufacturing)

Location: Caledonia, Illinois, United States; employment eligibility in the United States is required.

Base salary: $125,000–$145,000 per year; potential bonus opportunity: $30,000–$35,000.

What you will do

• Lead accounting, financial reporting, monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Analyze financial and operational results, profitability, budget performance, risks, and operating effectiveness.
• Manage annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and long-range financial planning with business leaders.
• Oversee contract and order reviews, revenue recognition, job costing, inventory accounting, fixed assets, and capital expenditure requests.
• Maintain the ERP and business information systems while partnering with shared services on accounting operations.
• Support manufacturing, sales, service, purchasing, engineering, tax, and other functions while developing talent and improving internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 8–10 years of finance and accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong financial analysis, analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, especially Excel and Word, plus experience with ERP and other software programs; Syteline is preferred.
• Hands-on team player able to synthesize complex information, research data, and design workflows and procedures.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
