Laboratory Support Technician (Radiochemistry)

Location: Charleston, South Carolina, United States; onsite work in the Charleston office and production laboratory.

What you will do

• Prepare labware and sampling containers using appropriate preservation and shipping protocols.
• Support radiochemistry testing through sample management, disposal, aliquoting, and digestion procedures.
• Perform data entry and use the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to prioritize laboratory workflow.
• Operate basic laboratory instrumentation and equipment while following written and verbal procedures.
• Assist with supplies, balance checks, and pipette checks.
• Process samples safely and efficiently in a busy production laboratory.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Chemistry, Biology, or another scientific discipline preferred.
• Prior laboratory experience is preferred but not required.
• Basic math and computer skills, with the ability to learn Microsoft 365 and LIMS.
• Good verbal and written communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work safely around chemicals and hazardous or radioactive materials and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
