Location: Valencia, California, United States; onsite laboratory role with frequent standing and walking, close eye work, lifting up to 50 lbs, and occasional exposure to cold temperatures.

Annual base pay: $42,700.00–$89,000.00, with the actual offer depending on qualifications, location, and schedule.

What you will do

  • Perform and document analytical procedures according to standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines.
  • Analyze routine data, identify unusual results or performance errors, and escalate findings to senior laboratory personnel.
  • Prepare analytical results for upload into the Laboratory Information Management System.
  • Prepare buffers and solutions and perform calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Support quality investigations, deviations, procedural updates, and laboratory process changes.
  • Support laboratory safety, quality, inventory, 6S initiatives, training, onboarding, and cross-functional projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; certain CAP/CLIA locations may require a relevant Bachelor of Science degree.
  • Six months of experience in a regulated laboratory environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of laboratory systems, procedures, Good Laboratory Practices, safety, infection control, standard precautions, and hazardous chemical handling.
  • Experience with buffer and solution preparation, equipment calibration and maintenance, laboratory automation, or specialized laboratory equipment.
  • Ability to perform laboratory calculations, including averages, means, standard deviations, batch calculations, specimen calculations, and quality control metrics.
  • Strong attention to detail, clear communication, computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
