Biorepository Specialist (AI Drug Discovery)

What you will do

• Oversee end-to-end biospecimen management, including receiving, inspection, accessioning, retrieval, packaging, distribution, archiving, and disposition.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs and Chain of Custody documentation in partnership with Quality administration.
• Author and edit SOPs as needed.
• Administer the Electronic Lab Notebook, including schemas, templates, dashboards, system configurations, maintenance, and user support.
• Monitor and manage inventories for liquid nitrogen and -80°C cold-storage units.
• Provide after-hours emergency support for equipment and biorepository alerts, and perform light laboratory maintenance.

Requirements

• Availability to work on site in New York, NY.
• Experience managing biospecimens and laboratory sample operations.
• Ability to follow and maintain SOPs and Chain of Custody documentation.
• Experience with Electronic Lab Notebook administration, schemas, templates, dashboards, or system configurations.
• Ability to manage cold-storage inventories, including liquid nitrogen and -80°C freezers.
• Availability for after-hours emergency support.
