Senior FP&A Analyst (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, Little Rock, Seattle, or New York, United States

Annual base compensation: $97,500–$144,000

What you will do

• Partner with leadership teams by providing financial insights and recommendations for business decisions.
• Manage monthly and quarterly expense forecasting, annual planning, and long-range projections.
• Develop financial metrics and reports to track performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support business partners with analysis and recommendations that influence strategic direction.
• Lead process improvements to increase the scalability and accuracy of financial reporting and forecasting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial analyses and ad-hoc projects.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in FP&A or financial analysis.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders on workforce planning, bottom-up planning, forecasting, and strategic expense management.
• Strong communication, quantitative, analytical, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights and make data-driven recommendations in ambiguous situations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and ability to meet strict deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Nice to have

• Financial analysis experience in a SaaS-based business.
• Proficiency with cloud forecasting tools such as Anaplan.
• Advanced degree or MBA.
