Intern, Product Engineering (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, NY, United States; relocation for the duration of the internship is required.

What you will do

• Support the assembly and testing of electronic boxes for military aircraft at the Design Center and Production Center.
• Evaluate and implement production equipment, including assembly fixtures and tools.
• Support circuit card rework, work instruction creation, and assembly and test process development.
• Provide technical support to engineers and contribute input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
• Work as a multidisciplinary member of a creative and independent engineering team.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering bachelor's or master's degree program at an accredited university.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0; the department may specify an exact GPA requirement.
• Ability to relocate to Buffalo, NY, for the duration of the internship.
• Professional disposition, effective communication skills, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information.
