Electrical Technician 3 (PLC)

hirify.global manufactures surface products and operates a facility requiring industrial electrical maintenance and equipment support.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical breakdowns in industrial equipment and machinery.
• Perform electrical and preventive maintenance, including PLC-based diagnostics and equipment monitoring.
• Modify electrical circuits, build and wire panels, and run conduit as needed.
• Calibrate and adjust electronic and pneumatic control equipment.
• Work with Engineering and electrical specialists to update blueprints and test equipment modifications.
• Follow safety, lockout/tagout, housekeeping, quality, and Lean procedures while supporting contractors with infrared electrical distribution scans.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of industrial electrical experience, including PLC troubleshooting and three-phase motor control.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical machinery operations, electrical systems, load requirements, panel construction, and wire sizing.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and program or work with PLC systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Ability to perform heavy physical work, including lifting and handling materials up to 100 pounds, standing and walking during a minimum twelve-hour shift, and working around dust, fumes, temperature extremes, loud noise, and bright lights.
