Senior Property Manager (Retail Commercial Real Estate)

Location: Onsite in the San Jose, California office, United States. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $130,000–$135,000 per year.

What you will do

• Manage, lead, and develop property management staff while ensuring consistent implementation of operations, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee property operations, financial and administrative activities, and day-to-day priorities.
• Build and maintain relationships with property owners, tenants, vendors, contractors, customers, and suppliers.
• Coach and mentor the team to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
• Maintain existing client relationships and expand the business base through regular contact with current and prospective clients.
• Consult with clients and develop creative solutions to strategically position assets.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of progressive experience managing retail commercial real estate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and professional skills, with experience managing staff.
• Strong experience with real estate software such as YARDI or MRI.
• Experience working with institutional clients and understanding financial reports, business fundamentals, and P&L management.
• California Real Estate License required.

Nice to have

• Industry certification such as CPM or RPA.
• Understanding of market cycles and the ability to set short- and long-term strategies.
• Experience demonstrating accountability for budgets and capital expenses.
