Senior Director, Multifamily

Location: Frisco, Texas, USA. The role requires regular onsite property visits and travel between properties, with travel of up to 25%.

Salary: $153,000–$180,000 per year.

What you will do

• Manage the day-to-day operations of an apartment portfolio with the Managing Director and Asset Managers.
• Develop property budgets and implement strategies to improve asset performance.
• Monitor marketing, occupancy, budget performance, personnel, and capital improvements.
• Hire, train, retain, and evaluate property operations personnel and contractors.
• Conduct regular onsite property visits and ensure properties meet company standards.
• Prepare operational reports, escalate high-level issues, and participate in market analysis and industry events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10+ years of related experience and 5+ years of management experience.
• Extensive knowledge of the multifamily industry and Fair Housing regulations.
• Strong project management, analytical, research, and property marketing skills.
• Ability to travel between properties, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and travel up to 25% of the time.
• A real estate license may be required depending on state requirements.
