Financial Operational Data Analyst (Workday)

What you will do

• Plan, design, document, and improve accounting and business processes.
• Build, deploy, maintain, and test inbound and outbound integrations between Workday Financials and third-party applications.
• Develop and support Microsoft Power Platform solutions using Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Create automated reporting and perform operational analytics using SQL, Python, ETL, and related systems.
• Plan projects, define milestones, balance resources and scope, and coordinate cross-functional delivery.
• Support Workday updates, regression testing, quality assurance, end-user training, and ad-hoc due diligence projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, computer information systems, or a related field.
• Experience in accounting, financial reporting and analysis, business analysis, or planning and executing accounting processes.
• Strong knowledge of accounting processes, accounting systems, ERP systems, and Workday.
• Experience with SOAP and REST web services, WSDL, XSLT, XPath, XML, and SQL databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.
• Advanced Workday report-writing knowledge, including data sources, primary business objects, and calculated fields for integrations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, collaboration, and customer service skills; ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
