Workday Platform Owner, Integration, Reporting, and Security (Workday)

Location: Remote work environment considered; must be able to work East Coast Hours. Travel of up to 10% is expected.

Salary: $127,900–$175,900 annual base salary.

What you will do

• Own the delivery, support, and continuous improvement of Workday technical solutions, with a focus on integrations and reporting for payroll and total rewards.
• Analyze business requirements, design solutions, estimate effort, document integrations, and coordinate delivery with functional stakeholders and offshore technical teams.
• Manage the Workday integration inventory, design maps, standards, monitoring, performance, and downstream impact analysis.
• Act as the technical subject-matter expert and liaison for business customers, functional teams, external vendors, and outsourced support providers.
• Prioritize enhancements and support requests, perform root-cause analysis, and implement improvements that reduce incidents and support effort.
• Provide Workday reporting and security expertise, including complex calculated fields, Integration System Users, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of professional experience.
• At least 5 years configuring inbound and outbound Workday HCM integrations, including APIs and Workday Studio Integration Designer.
• At least 5 years supporting technical integrations with external payroll and benefits providers.
• Experience with SQL, XML/XSLT, SOAP, REST, and middleware such as BizTalk or Fusion.
• Expertise in Workday custom report development and calculated fields.
• Experience with implementation and support projects, business analysis, project planning, vendor management, and agile or waterfall methodologies.

• Workday security and payroll configuration experience.
• Experience with acquisitions and divestitures.
• Consulting experience.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, process-orientation, and attention-to-detail skills.
