Sr. HR Manager

Location: Carol Stream, Illinois, with regular travel to two additional sites in Florida. Full-time onsite role. Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored immigration support.

Salary: $125,000–$135,000 annually, plus potential performance-based incentives.

What you will do

• Lead HR operations for the Carol Stream site and manage an HR Generalist/Coordinator.
• Own employee relations, investigations, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, separations, and complex accommodation matters.
• Lead recruitment, workforce planning, headcount forecasting, performance reviews, succession planning, and talent development.
• Manage compliance with FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, and applicable state and local employment laws.
• Oversee HR policies, audits, HRIS data integrity, reporting, compensation cycles, and pay equity analysis.
• Partner with the HR Director and site leadership on organizational design, change management, M&A integration, and process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7–10+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership or mentoring of HR staff.
• Deep knowledge of employment law and experience independently managing complex employee relations matters and investigations.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as Workday or ADP.
• Strong judgment, discretion, documentation, analytical, conflict-resolution, and senior-level influencing skills.
• Current United States work authorization without employer-sponsored immigration support is required.

Nice to have

• SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification.
• Experience in a multi-site or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with acquisition integration or multi-state compliance.
