Regional Portfolio Project Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Coordinate Central Operations and Field Service teams to align engineering resources, schedules, and technical priorities across outage plans.
• Use forecasting and data analytics to anticipate regional resource demand, identify bottlenecks, and balance the project portfolio.
• Develop resource contingency plans supporting business continuity and operational readiness.
• Standardize engineering workflows, project-management practices, and digital tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Integrate AI and automation into reporting, documentation, and technical governance workflows.
• Manage engineering schedules, milestones, technical risk assessments, and post-project reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent related technical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in project engineering, technical project management, or service operations in the energy or power-generation sector.
• Knowledge of gas turbines or power-generation technology, technical risk management, portfolio management, and resource scheduling or forecasting.
• Experience with Agile or Waterfall project-management methodologies.
• Strong communication, stakeholder-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• U.S. work authorization is required; current or future employer-sponsored work authorization is not available for this role.

Nice to have

• PMP or equivalent certification.
