Manager Mechanical Project Lead Engineering (Gas Turbines)

Location: Finspång, Sweden; hybrid remote/office work.

What you will do

• Lead, develop, and empower Project Lead Engineers delivering mechanical modification projects across the SGT-500, SGT-600, SGT-700, SGT-750, and SGT-800 gas turbine service fleet.
• Own engineering execution from technical scope and planning through coordination, delivery, and project closeout.
• Ensure technical and financial follow-up, manage interfaces and risks, and apply lessons learned to improve execution.
• Coordinate priorities and workload with other engineering managers and act as the first point of contact for new mechanical modification projects.
• Collaborate with sales and project management to align technical scope, delivery plans, and customer expectations.
• Support complex technical discussions and guide cross-functional problem solving throughout project execution.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience as a manager, team lead, or project leader in a technical environment.
• Strong technical background in mechanical engineering, gas turbine engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience leading engineering projects and coordinating multiple technical interfaces.
• Excellent communication skills, sound business judgment, and the ability to build trust across teams and with customers.
• Ability to work in a hybrid remote/office setup in Finspång, Sweden.
