Location: Gothenburg, Sweden. Flexible hybrid working model.

What you will do
- Provide engineering support throughout advanced product design and engineering phases.
- Bridge Product Design and Engineering by translating creative concepts into technically feasible, high-quality solutions.
- Maintain the technical and geometrical status of physical models, mock-ups, ergonomic bucks, and digital design verification assets.
- Validate concepts against manufacturability, quality, regulatory, and engineering requirements.
- Drive technical quality, support project planning and roadmaps, and contribute to design engineering methodology improvements.
- Lead cross-functional engineering initiatives and resolve complex technical challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Product Development, Industrial Design Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in Design Studio Engineering, Product Development, or Automotive Engineering.
- Extensive experience with design studios, concept development, engineering integration, physical prototypes, mock-ups, ergonomic bucks, and digital design verification.
- Strong understanding of product development processes, engineering validation, geometric quality, technical feasibility, manufacturing processes, materials, tooling, and production considerations.
- Proficiency with relevant CAD, PLM, visualization, and engineering development tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience leading complex technical initiatives and mentoring engineers.
