Head of Communications (Semiconductor)

Base salary: $160,000–$230,000 per year

What you will do

• Own executive communications for the CEO and Chief Commercial Officer, including earnings narratives, prepared remarks, investor and board messaging, and all-hands content.
• Build the messaging architecture connecting business units, products, and regional stories to one company narrative.
• Lead message discipline for the Project Amplify brand and narrative repositioning across sales, marketing, web, public relations, and internal channels.
• Establish internal communications through defined channels, leadership toolkits, communication cadence, and employee feedback loops.
• Launch executive thought leadership through keynotes, bylines, analyst briefings, and digital presence.
• Develop cross-functional relationships, build the communications team and agency model, and maintain issues and crisis communications playbooks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Business, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive corporate and executive communications experience, including at least 5 years leading a communications function or major enterprise communications program.
• Experience advising and writing for a CEO or C-suite executive at a publicly traded company.
• Experience leading communications through a rebrand, repositioning, merger, integration, or major business transformation.
• Hands-on experience with earnings communications, Regulation FD, quiet periods, disclosure controls, and Investor Relations partnerships.
• Exceptional writing, discretion, crisis judgment, and the ability to influence C-suite, board, and matrixed stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in semiconductor, hardware, or complex B2B technology environments.
• Leadership of multi-phase brand or narrative transformations with external agencies.
• Experience supporting investor days, sell-side interactions, and industry-analyst programs.
• Global communications experience across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
• Experience with communications measurement and AI-enabled communications tools.
