Electronic Tester (Electrical Testing)

Location: Onsite in Thomaston, Connecticut, United States. US citizenship required.

Salary: $23–$25.50 per hour

What you will do

• Test electric circuits, motors, motor-generator sets, controls, relays, automatic bus transfer switches, and other components.
• Perform diagnostic, high-voltage, insulation, operational, noise, load, and vibration tests.
• Use oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other testing equipment to analyze results.
• Adjust or replace components, troubleshoot issues, and ensure equipment meets specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain test logs, inspection reports, calibrations, and routine maintenance for test equipment.
• Collaborate with Engineering on prototypes, communicate issues and material shortages, and train new testers.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of experience testing electrical equipment.
• Proficiency in job-related mathematics and test calculations involving load, amperage, and voltage.
• Ability to read work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, and production documentation.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• US citizenship required.

• Associate degree in a related technical field.
