What you will do

• Design, test, check out, fabricate, modify, troubleshoot, and assemble electronic and electromechanical systems, prototype models, test equipment, tools, and fixtures.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems and subsystems at system and component level.
• Support new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, and testing on semiconductor manufacturing platforms.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing according to engineering and manufacturing specifications.
• Compile logbooks and test-procedure documentation, perform rework, and generate quality notifications.
• Follow safety, security, operating, and equipment-handling procedures and report hazards or incidents.

Requirements

• Analytical skills and the ability to apply scientific methods to technical activities.
• Ability to work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, and plans.
• Ability to recognize and solve typical problems using established procedures or scientific methods.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Austin, Texas.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
