Infrastructure Analyst Mac Operations Support (macOS)

M&T Bank is a banking organization hiring for enterprise Mac operations support.

What you will do

• Own complex Mac incidents and escalations from initial triage through resolution.
• Provide escalation support for Level I/II technicians and help manage the specialized Mac support queue.
• Coordinate with Mac Engineering and other technical teams on issues requiring engineering involvement.
• Investigate recurring and high-impact incidents, perform root-cause analysis, validate fixes, and recommend permanent solutions.
• Create knowledge-base articles, procedures, standardized fixes, and operational documentation.
• Mentor technicians and provide guidance on enterprise Mac troubleshooting.

Requirements

• On-site availability five days a week in Buffalo, New York is required.
• At least six years of higher education and/or work experience, including enterprise endpoint or desktop support.
• Substantial enterprise macOS support experience and experience managing Macs through an enterprise MDM platform, preferably Jamf.
• Advanced troubleshooting across hardware, operating systems, applications, authentication, networking, VPN, peripherals, and security tooling.
• Working knowledge of Intune/Entra registration, platform SSO, endpoint security agents, DLP, VPN, and enterprise application deployment.
• Strong written and verbal communication, customer focus, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field.
• Four to six or more years of enterprise endpoint or desktop support experience and two to three or more years of substantial enterprise macOS support experience.
• Apple Certified Support Professional or Apple Certified IT Professional certification.
• Relevant Jamf training or certification.
• Seven years of higher education and/or work experience, or additional training in related technologies.
