Senior Sourcing Agent (Procurement)

Location: Berlin, Connecticut, United States. Hybrid schedule with at least three office days per week, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays; employees must be able to work up to five days in the office when required.

Annual salary: $111,050.00–$123,390.00, plus potential incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Develop and execute procurement sourcing strategies for materials, equipment, and services.
• Lead supplier evaluations, RFPs, bid reviews, negotiations, and contract implementation.
• Manage contract administration and the full contract management lifecycle, including dispute resolution.
• Partner with business stakeholders and Legal to define requirements, review commercial terms, and develop Statements of Work.
• Optimize the supplier base, improve sourcing processes, and implement procurement best practices.
• Identify supply and quality issues, coordinate corrective actions, and coach less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of sourcing, procurement, purchasing, inventory systems, contract terms, and supplier management.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and influencing skills.
• Project management and leadership skills, including conflict management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of related experience in strategic sourcing or procurement.
• Must be able to work in the United States and meet the hybrid office requirements; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• MBA.
• Experience with commodity and supplier relationship management.
• Certified Purchasing Manager, Six Sigma, Lean, Process Management, or Project Management certification.
